Its probably true that Funeral for a friend/Love lies bleeding was the epic track for the sheer magnitude of it. I suppose I see Harmony as the best one of the standard length tracks (does that make any sense)???!!!

Six months before his untimely death, I once had the good fortune to meet Gus Dudgeon and when discussing the 'Yellow Brick Road' album he said that he really regretted the fact that 'Harmony' was never released as a single. He said that there was a certain American radio station that found this song to be their most requested track in the stations' history! I do not doubt that this beautiful song would've been a HUGE hit in the States at least!

@candelise : it seems you know alot about this album so maybe you can help me - harmony is one of my favorite songs of all time...but what was elton john talking about when he wrote this song...my sisters and i think it was about a prostitute....your input would be so helpful! thanks in advance!

Yes, it was one of the best, but my favourite has got to be Funeral for a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding. A double album in vinyl...sheer bliss.
