I learned how to play this one back in the day, and I always thought of it as a song from a man to a woman...then after a divorce, when I re-married a man with a 23 year old daughter...it took on a new, much deeper meaning. I played the song for my new husband, and it made him cry! It fits a father/daughter relationship even better!
