Winwood, Capaldi and company made mystical musical magic together. I'm a little too young for Traffic etc but , I've seen Winwood perform alone or with Petty, Clapton,etc.-he just is a born gifted artist that pours his heart and soul and powerful smooth voice and musical ability into every note.
Too bad the younger generation of musicians(?) don't learn more from his lead. Now along with poor/no talent there is too much electo/techo beats instead of real musicians. It's sad they sell records.
