Well now, now darlin, may a have a little talk with you
Well now, now, now, now darlin, may a have a little talk with you
Because it won't be long before our true love will be through
Well now now now darlin am I right or am I wrong
Yeah now now now darlin am I right or am I wrong
Because it won't be long before our true love will be through
You know I like my coffee sweet in the morning
And I'm crazy about my tea at night
Yeah, I like my coffee sweet in the morning
And I'm crazy about my tea at night
You know you'd come out a little better now baby
All I want you to do is treat me right
Stevie Ray Vaughn - May I Have a Talk With You (03:21)
Stevie Ray gettin savage.
The guitar that has Mickey Mantle's autograph is "Lenny". SRV and Mickey met in 1985 at the Astrodome were Mickey threw the first ball and SRV played The National Anthem. Its a red 1965 Fender Strat, with SRV stickers on the white pickup guard. "Lenny" was sold to the Guitar Center for $623,000 in 2004. This was one of two guitars that really meant something to him. R.I.P. Stevie.

Nobody could make that raggedy old guitar look better than Stevie. (Raggedy old being a form of endearment. Nothing beats raggedy old guitars. They play the best.)

Mickey Mantle did, in fact, also sign the back of #1. If you search for SRV Interviews on youtube, Stevie is being interviewed by some canadian guy and he shows you the back of #1 with Mickey's signature on it.

Not a problem at all. It all happened a little over a month before we lost Stevie. Pretty scary stuff!!
